1. Applications
We use the acs conductor for overhead shield wire in high corrosion areas such as industrial, seashore, and desert environments. When the long life and superior corrosion resistance is desired for the wire and conductor, aluminium clad steel wire is a very good choice.

2. Construction
Aluminum clad steel stranded wire is made of an aluminum clad steel wire core stranded with one or more layers of single aluminum clad steel wire in spiral. Opposite stranding direction between neighboring layers provides higher mechanical strength and corrosion resistance.
